"Reframing Aging"

Ageism is still flourishing in our society and public policies.

Let’s change that.

Thank you Dr. Stanford and our amazing line-up of speakers!

Dr. E. Percil Stanford was the Keynote Speaker at the

2017 Senior Health Policy Forum.

He discussed the importance of inclusive communities that support older adults,

and reframing the discussion of the aging population.

The Bay Area Senior Health Policy Coalition is part of The SCAN Foundation’s Community of Constituents initiative, building a statewide movement to transform the system of care so that all Californians can age with dignity, choice and independence.

Our Coalition has adopted the Guiding Principles of the California Collaborative for Long-Term Services and Support to establish a stronger, flexible and inclusive LTSS system.  These Guiding Principles are important as we continue our work to strengthen the safety-net for Bay Area seniors.
